From Fear to Hope: Chat GPT Changed My Outlook on the Economy

Following the Covid-19 pandemic, I was convinced that the economy was teetering on the edge of collapse and that a market crash was inevitable. I struggled to envision a positive future until the release of Chat GPT. After using it for some time, I then had a feeling that the economy will undoubtedly continue to grow boldly with massive cost reductions.

I decided to give it a shot with Chat GPT and was impressed by its ability to assist me with various tasks and provide useful information. With the help of Chat GPT, I started to see that A.I. technology will be a strong positive force for good, and my perspective on the future began to change to a brighter view.

Chat GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is an impressively advanced artificial intelligence that surpasses all other AI assistant programs. Its capabilities are truly superior and remarkable. I was amazed by its abilities, almost to the point of being stunned.

The impact of AI is not limited to individuals like myself. AI-based services are being developed in numerous fields, and as a result, the market and society as a whole are experiencing an exceptional pace of advancement. It’s as if I’m filled with energy and vitality, and the sensation of being able to fly is overwhelming.

Chat GPT and Surrealist Automatism / écriture automatique

As I pondered for a moment, a thought suddenly crossed my mind: what if all processes, or any cycle of activity within our society, were to accelerate by tenfold, fifty-fold or even more? The result would be a vastly different reality, perhaps even reminiscent of earlier Surrealist Automatism.

Surrealist Automatism is a technique of Surrealist, known as “écriture automatique,” which is French for “automatic writing.” This technique involved writing without conscious thought or control, allowing the subconscious mind to take over and produce unexpected or even nonsensical results.

One way that Surrealists sometimes explored automatic writing was by repeatedly writing the same word or phrase, faster and faster, until the writing became more and more illegible. This technique was intended to help bypass the conscious mind and access deeper levels of the subconscious. Through these experiments, the Surrealists hoped to tap into the hidden realms of the mind and access new forms of creativity and expression. They believed that by breaking down the barriers between the conscious and unconscious mind, they could access a more authentic and truthful form of artistic expression.

We have reached a point where we can perform a process or a series of tasks without conscious awareness, much like how we can close our eyes and navigate our way home. If A.I. were to further accelerate this process, what kind of world might we expect to see? Artificial intelligence will probably grow exponentially. What will happen? No one knows.

Things we should keep in mind is that computer jobs are increasingly replacing human jobs, and the digitalization of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is just one aspect of a natural phenomenon that has been ongoing since the Earth’s inception. Therefore, it’s essential to prepare for the future that awaits us.
